Extended ambient temperature range for ARIS actuators of Ex zone 1

Since ARIS introduced its flame-proof enclosure for the actuators up to 40 Nm in early 2014, the ATEX series has been constantly expanded. Today, ARIS offers flame-proof actuators for use in explosive atmospheres of zone 1 up to 60 Nm. Besides the classic models, the fully electronical type “Tensor” is available flame-proof. Now ARIS customers can benefit from the advantages of the Intelligent Line even in environments with explosive atmospheres.
In the course of an extended certification, the ambient temperature range could be increased from +40 °C up to 60 °C. This step lifts ARIS off from the actual market standards. According to the motto “stagnation is regression”, ARIS continuously works on further upgrade steps, e.g. zone 2/22 or higher torques.
