Linear drives as linear actuators are composed of an electric drive head and a linear unit. For Linearis units, a hazard assessment is available which confirms the safe use in explosive areas. In combination with drive heads of the series Nano+ and Tensor approved for Zone 2 or 22, the Linearis is also approved as a complete unit for use in potentially explosive areas of Zone 2 and 22 respectively.
