With the “PICO”, ARIS Stellantriebe supplies an actuator that offers exceptional flexibility. Based on an actuator for heating, air conditioning and ventilation technology, it offers many features that are required in the industrial sector.
The company from Troisdorf (North Rhine-Westphalia) specializes in electric and pneumatic actuators. All ARIS product series are in a constant process of evolution, resulting in some further developments, but also completely new series. The improvements are often in the detail, but make a huge difference overall. The desire to develop durable, practical solutions has resulted in the PICO drive series, which offers users attractively priced devices without compromising on quality compared to industrial high-end drives. The PICO is of particular interest to OEM customers, as the modular system that has been developed allows for individual equipment. The PICO production line is designed for high-volume series, which makes the economic advantage particularly significant.
With its ultrasonically welded housing, the PICO promises low susceptibility to soiling and is supplied with IP 65 protection as standard. The compact design makes it easy to accommodate even in tight system layouts. Optional switches and potentiometers, for example, are not fitted as additional housings with separate cable connections, but are installed in the protected housing to save space, as is usual in the industrial sector. They can be conveniently adjusted from the outside. There is also the option of an integrated spring return. The actuator can be used for direct mounting on a variety of butterfly valves as well as ball and mixing valves. In contrast to comparably priced products, an in-house range of accessories is available, offering a selection that meets industrial requirements. From distance mounting sets and form-fit inserts to clamping adapters, the modular extensions offer customers a wide range of options.
Performance as required
ARIS Stellantriebe has sensibly expanded its portfolio and offers suitable solutions in both the upper and lower performance ranges with actuators up to 500 Nm and the latest addition to the product family, the PICO. After the market launch, variants of the PICO tailored to ball valve and butterfly valve applications will be available from stock; individualized variants can then be implemented for OEM customers.
